Been at Westmont Gardens for one year now and I'm relieved to say it was a good decision. The one Bdrm units are spacious and include new carpet and new appliances in the kitchen with the exception of the dishwasher (more on this later). Although the kitchen does not have very much storage it is enough for one person and the countertops were new as well. Living room dining room combo is a nice size and the window is large which is great because my unit overlooks a nice little courtyard.

The unit includes two large closets in the bedroom and a very large closet in the hall between the living room and bedroom opposite the bathroom. This closet includes built-Ins for storage of either towels or toiletries. It s so big I have two large containers with all my Christmas crap as well as all my moving boxes, the frame of a bed im not using and there is still plenty of room left for more crap.

One of the things I like most about this unit is that there is a window in the kitchen as well as the bathroom which is great if you like natural light and the bathroom includes a wall heater as well. The bedroom has two windows and is a very nice size. As a previous poster noted, the buildings are treated regularly for pests and I've been lucky not to have seen any so that keeps me happy.

Oh back to the dishwasher When I moved in the stove and fridge were brand new but the dishwasher was quite old but still operational. The dishwasher looked really bad and had signs that the previous occupant may have had a roach problem not to mention a problem keeping his/her place clean. I ran the machine to try to clean it out before I put in any of my things in and during the cycle it spewed out a nasty odor. I informed management at noon the next day and when I returned home that evening there was a brand new washer in place. I could not have been more pleased.

The grounds are very well kept, with some of the greenest grass I've ever seen in my life (this can't be natural). Overall, a very nice place to live! Oh it has a fitness center but I've never used it.

Forgot to add that if you hate Comcast (as I do) you have the option of having Verizon FIOS at Westmont Gardens.

I don't think the rents are high. I pay 1,115 for a on Bdrm unit. Thats comparable to other buildings in the area.
