I absolutely detest this apartment. I've lived in plenty of apartment buildings in Arlington, and this one is by far the worst. I thought I was getting a deal with the cheap rent, but as they say, you get what you pay for. Night after sleepless night I am kept awake at night until 1 or 2 am with the bumps and thumps of my upstairs neighbors (which, by the way, has 3 people living in a one-bedroom apt.!), as well as the intolerably loud people next door. I can hear detailed conversations of the people that live around me because the walls are made from tissue paper. It's so loud that I've now been sleeping at friends' houses in the middle of the week just to get a break from the constant noise. And even after I've asked the management numerous times to please talk to the neighbors, I've gotten no response or action. Apparently the "cover 80% of your hardwood floors" rule does not apply to this location. I'm getting out of this hole as soon as my lease is up. And to add insult to injury, the horrific mold/mildew problem in the bathroom is making me sick. This place is a DUMP.
