My husband and I have lived here for 4 years and in that time we haven't had many problems, except they hiked the rent up for 3 years before finally giving us a break this year, and for the expensive price we pay for this gated community the walls must be made of Play-Doh. We can hear everything and I mean EVERYTHING our upstairs neighbor does. We can even hear him talk to his girlfriend in a normal tone of voice, when we are trying to sleep at night. There is something wrong with the walls or vents here, because it's ridiculous. We can also hear music thumping from the apartment next door. I also don't like that they will tell you they're sending pest control to your apartment when you have no pests and didn't request it, and send them when you're not home.

I agree. The walls are paper thin. The lady upstairs kept telling me to turn my arlarm down...well it was but I still needed to hear it right? I was very happy there except for 2 things. The gate was left open too much and the maintenance guys at the end of my stay were clueless. As for the office staff...the best.

I have to agree with tenants that wrote about the steadily decline in the Ashbourgh apartment located in Ashburn VA. The management has a very high turnover and seems only to respond, when you submit a concern or complaint in writing. I along with other neighbors have contacted the Loudoun county Sherriff department; to handle situations with our neighbors (i.e... what appears to be college students or very young adults) only because of the lack of responsiveness, from property management. This is absurd! The management staff here at the Ashborough apartment in Ashburn VA is the worst, that we have experience in apartment living. Please do you research and have sound test done prior to moving in. By sound test we mean, have them to play music and or make noise in the apartment beside, above or below where you are moving. Please do your research on how long management has been staffed and all of the above before moving into the Ashborough Apts ,in Ashburn Virginia. Best Regards.

I live here and I have neighbors above and beside me but I rarely hear them. I did ask about the gates too and it seems that our fellow neighbors are hitting the gates and breaking them and then it costs alot of money to fix (it's not a walmart toy it's a giant moving gate). I say ask our fellow residents to stop breaking the things you like... To the original poster- if you don't like living here why have you been here for 4 YEARS!!?? it doesn't make sense to stay somewhere you dislike...
