This staff is ridiculous. I was lied to about construction issues. I have replaced 2 tires and not been compensated. Construction wakes you up every morning.
The atmosphere likes to present the thought of a higher class yet I feel that the price I pay is not worth anything this property can offer. A waste of money, I wish I chose one of the smaller down home places.

Let me see if I am understanding you correctly, you are having issues with the construction? Its loud....it wakes you up in the morning....Your tires have nails in them. All reasonable gripes. Ummmmm did you not see the construction workers when you went and looked at the place? I did! Did you NOT notice that outta approx 10 buildings....only 2 were finished? ITS A NEW PLACE!!! THEY ARE STILL BUILDING!! I know what you need.....FROM THIS DAY FORTH, I will send a construction worker to your apartment every morning to make sure its ok with you that they start working! 10ish ok with you? What is the property going to offer you? You have a pool and a gym. Do you want room service? It's a freakin apartment complex dude!!! YOU SIGNED THE LEASE!!! Let me guess, one of those "ridiculous" employees held a gun to your head? Your a grown man, if you didn't like the terms of the lease...you should have walked away. Compensation for your tires? Is that in your lease? Its not in mine! Once again...you should have realized that you were moving into a new complex that was still being built. STUFF LIKE THAT HAPPENS! Ipersonally realize that this is a new place and that over time its only going to get better....I have no problem with the staff or whats going on around here. but then again......I didn't have that gun pointed to my head like you did.

You're amusing MCIman. I read another comment you wrote for The Arbors at Broadlands, another community in Ashburn. You seem like a person impossible to make happy. Nothing but negative comments everywhere. Sounds like you might need to build and manage your own apartment complex. It would be interesting to see how you respond to unrealistic people like yourself.

Ease up, he has a right to voice his concerns. For the most part he is correct about management not keeping up the grounds but good help is hard to fine.

notfeelingthelove and mciman are morons. WTF is your problem? Buy a damn house and stop wasting your time and money at these apartments if you can't be happy....or do you not have the finances to accomodate your own property?

I agree with MCIMan that the office staff working here at Camden Westwind Apartments are a bunch of morons. I'll also add that I've never seen a bunch of uneducated idiots trying to run property like this ever before in my life. They not only continually misunderstand what you're politely communicating to them but they don't seem to be able to do simple tasks correctly, such as typing up a lease accurately. I mean I've had to have my lease re-typed 3 times because they're staff not only does not communicate between themselves but it was also full of typos and errors on dates. I mean how stupid does one have to be when they keep mis-spelling the street address over and over again??
However, I disagree with MCIman about the construction. When I first moved in, construction was still going on and it was annoying BUT it was expected because they were working on completing the new buildings. Having said that, the construction and maintenance crews could've done a much better job of cleaning up after themselves - the parking lots weren't cleaned up well at all and I consider myself lucky that I didn't get nails in my tires.
In response to REALISTIC4, everyone is entitled to their opinions, even you, although you seem like a very bitter and angry person. It almost sounds like you work for Camden. :P LOL. No need to take things so personally. Maybe you do work for Camden and if that's the case, I'd take the criticism and try to do a much better job.
One other complaint I have is that the apartment will nickel and dime you and try to get every penny from you that they can. One example is with watering the grass. I'm definitely for trying to keep the lawns green and lush and doing regular lawncare is great. However, when the management over-waters the grass (I mean watering it for hours even to the point of flooding the lawns) and watering it for days even when it's raining like cats and dogs outside, guess who they charge for the expenses? You guessed, the tenants. I'm not a tree-hugger but conservation is smart. I don't think it's right when the management is wasteful and then charge the tenants for their carelessness.
