1. Poop in the snow: Yes its discusting but you really cant stop that even if you live in a house. There are always going to be those few who just dont care and there is no way to stop them. All management can do is post notices up and hope people listen to them. Its not like they can sit at every building all day long and monitor the residents picking up after their animals.

2. Management, at any apt. community is NOT required per your lease, any other legal document, or by law to shovel out your parking lots when it snows. If a community does do it that is because they are doing it out of curtosy to you! If you owned a house you would be required to shovel your own side walks and drive way...why does it has to be different just because you live in an apt'!'!

3. As far as bikes being stolen when left in the designated bike area under stair cases in the apartment buildings, it is not managements' responsibility if they get stolen. If you were to park in a public area, usually people chain lock their bikes to a tree or, if provided, bike railings. Its no different at any apartment community, the community management can not be held liable.

Just a note to all those leasing: make sure you thoroughly read the contract you sign. That way you are fully advised as to what you are and are not to expect from your community.

I have thoroughly enjoyed living here at westwind,so far, with my two roommates!!!
