My husband and I have lived in 3 different apartments at this complex since April 2001. We started out in one of the smaller one-bedroom models, moved to a one bedroom with a den, and now we're in a one bedroom with a den and a loft. We're currently looking to buy a house!

I haven't noticed many problems with noise, and I'm someone who doesn't like a lot of noise. Our biggest problem in our current apartment is that the windows and doors are very drafty. We also have to climb up and down 4 flights of stairs every day, but it keeps us in shape. It's true that most of the people who live here aren't very friendly, but I think that's true of most of the Northern Virginia area.

We like the location of this complex--we enjoy taking walks down to the river, and we have a beautiful view from our apartment. We really like the clubhouse, which has a nice gym. We've found the maintenance and office staff here to be helpful and responsive. The gates do really get on our nerves.

We've been looking at a lot of townhouses lately, and we realize that we're very spoiled by this apartment. It's HUGE and all the appliances are almost brand-new. The counters are higher than average, which is good for us because we're both tall. The bathtub is enormous compared to most of the ones we've seen in our house search. All the rooms are a good size. We like the chair rail in our living room and the tile in the kitchen and foyer. We really feel like we lucked out with this place. We'll be sorry to leave!
