A Refreshing Change

In fairness to Archstone, I am writing this review after posting a scathing report on my stay at Archstone Sussex Commons in Alexandria (see "Turn Around While You Still Can !!!"). Stoneridge is nothing like Sussex Commons. And that's a good thing. Although I have only been here a couple months, the move was definitely a good decision. I was initially a bit disappointed that the carpet hadn't been changed when I moved in. The old carpet had stains, but after a call to the office it was completely changed in a couple days. Other than that small hiccup, everything else has been grand. The location is much more peaceful that Kingstowne (Alexandria), yet there is no shortage of shopping and restaurants in the 5-10 minute area. I love watching the planes land at Dulles airport. The Potomac is less than a 1/4 mile away and I am looking forward to fishing there this summer. My dog benefits from the open spaces and other residents seem to be friendly, but keep out of your business. This isn't the country. This isn't the city. But if you are looking for something in between, welcome home.
