I've been living at University Heights since April and I think it's quite nice. I'm not sure what these other people expect when they moved into an apartment complex but there ARE going to be some things that you will and will not like about any place. I have a beautiful view of a river from my apartment and all of my neighbors in my building are pleasant and we say our hello's and make polite conversation. I did have an issue with my A/C unit but was able to get it fixed within the week. There is no assigned parking so it's nice when you have family or friends stopping by. I work til late in the night and I've never come to find myself worried when leaving my car. The gym in the leasing office is a little small but it is there and has also been redone. Frankly, I just think these other people are expecting a little too much.

Hope this helps!

People are not expecting too much. This site is a forum to air your experiences in a honest fashion so that potential clients can evaluate if this is a place suited for them. I personally lived in University Heights for a year before I experienced any issues. Maintenance was on time and on point. Please do not insult people who are exercising their rights of freedom of speech. I am sure there are people who have an OK experience (but obviously not as many as people who have had horrible experiences). Yes people have different standards, yours maybe lower than others...who knows? If a tenant is paying rent regularly and on time, they have a right to expect and yes are entitled to good customer service.
