I have been living here for the last four years and planned to move out but could not change mailing address.Every year I applied to Shawnee apartment and could not move. I wish I moved earlier. The management is really money sucker, rude and uneducated people. Now i?m looking for a new apartment because of their rude behavior. You will never get back your deposit when you will move out. They will keep all of your money for this and that. Bathroom is very old and you have to pay for replacement/repair like changing blind and for some other small work.

First of all, this is a 3 year old review. Why is it still on the site? Perhaps there is something wrong with this person since he can't seem to get an apartment at Shawnee. It doesn't seem like he should blaime this apartment community. The last time I looked, there are a number of apartments in Blacksburg.

Why are you so eager to defend this complex? Your multiple comments are kind of annoying. I'm just wondering because it makes you sound like you're on the management staff or something.

To "hokieforever": I'm sorry that my comments bother you. I am just surprised at the amount of bad reviews that are listed but the people seem to remain in their apartment. This one for example: why couldn't he change to Shawnee? Why wouldn't they accept him? For four years, he couldn't get an apartment somewhere else?!
