A solid college apartment choice..

I had to laugh at some of the comments here because I personally experienced some of the negative things, but I also saw many positives in this complex.
Some of the negatives:
- Parking can be bad at times. This will depend upon which building you live in and whether it's a football weekend or not. I personally only had trouble finding a close spot a few times. I'd rate it much better than many of the other complexes my friends lived in.
- Snow removal in the winter is terrible and the ice often takes days or weeks to go away. I noticed improvement in this while I lived there (over 3 years), but it was still bad in December when I left.
- Apartments are old, and that brings issues such as sagging floors and a general lack of cosmetic appearance. Recent renovations did drastically improve the apartments.
The positives I experienced:
- The location was perfect in my opinion. Close to campus without being too close.
- Office staff was extremely friendly in my encounters and very approachable.
- Work orders were typically completed day of or the following day. I typically emailed the workorder to them, which may have sped things up. Maintenance was always friendly and seemed to respect my privacy.
- Price was very reasonable. I am now paying $250 more for a one bedroom here in Orlando then my 3 bedroom there cost. Split three ways, it was a steal.
- Chasewood was relatively quiet compared to other complexes I have visited. This is definitely a quiet place compared to Foxridge, The Village, or the Pheasant Run area. At least this is one person's experience...
