The fact that there is plenty of parking for everyone living there and all of your friends that come to visit is the best aspect of foxridge. I had my car towed visiting friends in other blacksburg apartments as did many other people i know. The floors are a little thin. One year there we had very loud annoying people above us but it was mostly on weekends. The maintenance staff is great. They respond quickly and fix whatever you need fixed. Beautiful landscape. They have a very nice walking trail all around the neighborhood where you pass cows, donkeys, and if you go far enough horses. I always felt very safe in foxridge. My friend and I (both women) would run at night on the trail occasionally. The fees for damages were very reasonable when we moved out. And that was after 3 years in the apartment. Friendly office staff always willing to help. I do have to complain about the heat though. If you set it at 65 it would turn on and run until it was like 70 something and then turn off and then not turn back on until it was like 60. So it would go hot cold hot cold. That was a bit frustrating.
