I lived at the village for 2 years and after leaving there, this place feels like heaven. The maintenance people were really nice and prompt when I called them for water leaking in from outside. They came in literally 5 minutes and they brought all their maintenance buddies. The carpets and flooring were clean (unlike the tie-dyed ones from my last place). Overall, it's been a really nice experience. The only down side is that the walls are really thin. I can hear the people who live above me pretty clearly. On more than one occasion I've been able to identify what movie they were watching simply by sitting in the living room. Granted I don't know how much of this problem is the walls versus the people living there. They tend to party a lot and often times to the wee hours of the morning. Parking is good, even on game days (I've seen people park here and hop the bus to campus) and the people living here seem to be a lot friendlier than those living at the village. One problem I had though was at the beginning of the school year, someone broke the back window of my fiance's truck and a couple weeks later someone else hit the side of his truck when they were pulling out of their parking spot (and neither left any kind of note so I guess they were both hit and runs technically). So you probably want to be careful with your cars. I haven't had much of a problem with mine except that someone dumped beer all over it and the cars next to me but that washed right off. Basically, if you don't mind a bit of noise and a small risk of something happening to your car, everything else about foxridge is great.
