After reading the 2 reviews posted on this web site, I felt I had to share my thoughts on Knollwood. First of all, who doesn't have funny tasting ice cubes that come from an automatic ice maker' Anytime water sits without moving, it stinks. How can that be the fault of Knollwood management' I think that complaint is a little ridiculous. As far as the office staff goes, they really do a great job of taking care of the residents and the community. I truely feel like they go out of their way to provide great customer service to everyone. The community itself is awesome and you won't find a better floor plan in all of Blacksburg. It sounds to me like the two bad reviews came from residents who may not have gotten their way and just want to bash CMG. They should probably try to grow up a little and realize they can't always get their way!

Things have changed a lot since this review was posted. Now Knollwood has anything BUT great staff/management. Our biggest complaint with this place is with how inconsiderate and rude the entire staff is, how they only want your money and screw you in any way they can, and are NOT at all accommodating. The apartments were okay, although low-quality, but it was the management that made our experience awful.

I agree with the most previous response about Knollwood having gone way downhill since the original posting. This place is a huge money-trap, the staff are not helpful, the maintenance are flat-out rude, the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors walking, watching tv, etc. Poor quality. Highly priced for what you're getting. If you're a VCOM student, it is more worthwhile to commute a few extra minutes than live here.
