I have enjoyed staying at knollwood - I was in crossings at knollwood which is more spacious than cederfield. I never had a problem getting anything fixed, the pool is very nice and never extremely crowded. The staff is friendly and neighbors generally quiet as many professionals also live in these apartments. Times when my upstairs neighbors were a little loud I just ask them to turn it down and they did. You might have to walk a little when you try to park at night, but its nothing to complain about. Like any apartment make sure you write everything that you could possibly be charged for and the apartment is kinda expensive. However, I wouldn't live anywhere else in blacksburg.

If you will read the other only positive reviews below from a couple of years ago, you will notice that a cheerful, over-positive review is written within a couple of weeks of the "real" review. Don't be fooled by the false staff. The best thing to do is to talk directly with people who have had to deal directly with the staff and who have lived there at least a year... you'll find that most people who have lived there are not very happy with several aspects of this apartment community, especially with grounds, staff, and maintenance.

Thats funny - just because you had a negative experience doesn't mean people can't have a good experience - like I said Knollwood is kinda expensive but I think worth the price. Ill let yall know if they try to screw me with move-out, but so far I have had no problems. The only 'problem' i had was when my dishwasher wasn't screwed in all the way so it was about to fall out of its whole and I had to keep shoving it back in. but as soon as I got around to calling the staff, they fixed it within 5 hours. Im sorry you had a negative experience, but mine has been great and I am really sad to leave.
