I have lived in Lantern Ridge apartments for over 6 years. Since I have lived here I have to do all the repairs and maintence to my own apartment because the landlord or the maintence people say that they cant get to it, or it isnt a very high priority. I have been with out a dishwasher for over three years and it is still sitting in my kitchen with three year old water in it. I have never had my carpet replaced or shampooed in the entire six years that I have been here. My utility room floor is rotten and the a.c. unit is about ready to fall through the floor. Light switches are broken, windows have mold growing in between the pains, the is mold forming around the baseboards. I have went to the landlord and the maintence people about this several times but nothing has ever been done. I feel like this is sort of a discrimination issue because I am a Hud resident. Everyone else that has problems with their apartments get them fixed quick and I think it is bucause they are not Hud residents.
