Living in Oak Manor was the best year of my college experience. I wish so much that I could live in a place like this again (I've since moved to NYC and HATE it!) It was so adorable, the neighbors were nice (except ours were very perticular about us not parking in their spots...I did see some poor guy get towed once for parking in their assigned spot). You normally get two spots per unit, but there is plenty of space to park on the street. Plus the walk back to your townhouse is great since there are tree-lined sidewalks. It is right on the bus line, so that is great. I never had any trouble with noise, only once in a while when people were outside at night. Otherwise, the only sound was from the cows in the fields across the street. It was such a great place! We once had a problem with termites, but the exterminators came and sprayed right away. And the air conditioner will stop working if you set it too low (because the pipes will freeze). So be kind to your townhouse, and it will be kind to you. Our front door's lock stuck and our backyard's sliding door lock broke, and we had to fashion our own locks because the reality company was pretty non-responsive (we had Raines Prop. Mang.), but any college company is pretty much going to be hard to work with. Overall, we loved Oak Manor!
