Avoid this place, there are MUCH better places at a lower cost

I lived in one of the townhomes, so i'm not sure about their apartments.
I lived there for a year, and here is what I have discovered.
AC/Heater both runs off electricity, and since the townhome is extremely old and inefficient, you get raped on utility bills. During the winter time, it's almost impossible to keep the living room warm without using the fireplace (if you have one).
During the summer time, it's impossible to keep the upstairs bedrooms cool and comfortable, even if you blast the Air Conditioner.
Our average electric utility is about 200 each month, depending on the peak of winter or summer.
The dryer option is nice, but it's very inefficient. You end up wasting more electricity trying to dry your clothes. So it's cheaper just to wash it somewhere else.
WHen we moved in, the apartment was already in shambles, and even the cabinets were falling apart. We asked the office to come and fix it, or take notice of it, but they never came.
Don't even think about getting your full deposit back. It's almost impossible. We hired a professional cleaner to clean our apartment when we moved out, and we still got charged for 1/2 of our deposit for it being not clean enough. So you end up getting ripped off at the end of the year for your deposit.
Unlike a lot of places in blacksburg, water is NOT included at Sturbridge. Instead, what happens is that, the office will drop off a paper stating how much you owe for water. Even over winter break where no one was living there, we still got a bill for 22 dollars. In the normal year, water bill is about 40-80 bucks. So i seriously think they're ripping us off on that.
On a positive note, this place is EXTREMELY quiet, and relatively clean.
In all honesty, do not live here. It cost too much in the long run, and you can get better places than this for cheaper.
