It's party central here. If you take your studies seriously and don't like to deal with loud noise or frat boy vomit on the stairways, you don't want to live here. It's why I moved out.

For whatever reason Terrace View as well as "The Village" uses a "courtesy patrol" type of security.... they don't secure anything and often join in the party scene. The "courtesy patrol" is made up of tenants that want to get a reduced rate on their rent, not guards that are actually going to do anything.

Actually, this is the problem with almost every property management company around Blacksburg. Finally I went with a privately owned house for rent because none of the property managers want to clamp down on the animalhouse drinking scene.

Terrace View does not have a courtesy patrol or courtesy officer on site. Local police are the only law enforcement that have the authority to enforce noise, parties, alcohol offenses, etc. No one is offered a reduced rate for patrolling the property. Your information is incorrect.

Oh? Interesting, I didn't know that Terrace View no longer had a "courtesy patrol." And what about the reasons they don't clamp down on the animal house drinking scene? We don't all want to live in a pigstye

The village at Blacksburg does not have "Security" they have people that do lockout after hours only.
