I've lived here for the past year. It's not as fancy as Collegiate Suites, but it's definately not as expensive either. It's located right behind Kroger and University Mall, so not having a car was never a problem since it was so convenient to everything. The whole 2 parking spaces to 3 roommates would probably bother me if my 3rd roommate had a car, but she doesn't so it's fine.

When we moved in, they had redone the cabinets, carpet and put in a new dishwasher and microwave. The stove is kind of old, but we've never had a problem. We've only had one issue with the dryer, but maintenance came by and fixed that relatively quickly.

The only problem we've had with Raines (who manages the property) is a leak in our ceiling when it rained hard for several consecutive days. They claimed to fix it by tarring the roof, but it stills leaked. It's so bad that there is a water stain and two holes. We've called them about it, but they haven't come in to fix it yet. Other than that however, we've never had much difficulty with it.

The community is nice and quiet, which I really like. I definately plan on renewing my lease next year as well.

(most people dont get new cabinets, carpet, dishwasher and microwave right before they move in. consider yourself very lucky. our stove and dishwasher broke in the middle of the year and took a month each to replace -with no explanation)
