After moving my daughter in on the 23 of August 2009 I wish we had seen the apartment beforehand. The entire apartment was filthy. We bleached the bathroom and it still smells of mold and mildew. The carpets did not apear to be cleaned at all. There is a leak in the ceiling of the bathroom. Service is not prompt to matters such as these. Do not pay to live in these conditions. As long as students do not complain, this will continue.

We moved our son in on the 15th and I've already decided he will NOT live there next year. My first thought was where did the $250 cleaning fee, (that we had to pay before he moved in), go??? It certainly didn't go to cleaning. It was filthy. The dirty, old refrigerator was leaking. It was just awful. My older son lived at Fox Ridge his first year, and that place was a luxury apartment compared to this place. The next two years he lived at Maple Ridge, and this was the best of all places. University Terrace needs to be condemned.

My daughter has been living at UT on first floor since last 2 years and she never had any issues with safety. Parking could be a problem and cars get towed, but you are fine, if you take a sticker from Burnette. Friends should park on the street.... Bottom line is that this place is cheap, decently maintained with washer and dryer in the unit. Foxridge 4 Br cost $ 500 more and still you have to pay about $ 50 extra/mo for washer and dryer. I don't know with the guys, but with my daughter and her friends, it was really convenience to have it in the unit.
