Have you ever heard the phrase HELL ON EARTH''' I look forward to this lease to end every waking minute and in my dreams. Everything is broken nothing works the way it should, the only plus is the service team response when something does break under 24 hrs yes! The issue with the service is they can t fix anything, they jerry-rig everything. Since my roommate and I moved in this dump we have had to deal with a ton of broken junk. To begin the place needs a major face lift. The appliances are from the late 60's and early 70's Old Yellow GE and Sears Roebuck trash. The carpets have paint on them from the painters after someone leaves. The walls seem to have toxic paint in them due to my 7 month old puppy dying upon move in or maybe it s the paint on the carpet throughout the place. The front door is not secure I called for maintenance and all he did was glue the wood... The floor has sink holes where padding is missing, the garbage disposal is shot, the big stove top burner is busted, the kitchen light is blown out, the washer does not spin, the spin cycle is shot the dryer will not dry the cloths unless you run it 4 and 1/2 times. The water heater... don t get me started on the 20 gallon piece of TRASH the hot water lasts for 3.2 minutes a stop watch has been used. Roommate s door would not shut upon move in his toilet leaks, and his sink will turn on by itself. Windows should be made of rice paper as they are paper thin. The monthly electric bill is around $250 during the winter as the heat pump runs all night and is set around 70 during the day. Many hidden fees in the lease that were given at the last minute. The neighbors do not pick up their dogs solid waste the common areas are full of solid waste, the trash pickup is scarce, the trash will pile up for days making the community look poor. Do not I repeat do not go out on the balcony my roommate almost fell through the rotting wood as a board snapped. Would love to terminate the lease but it would cost 2 months rent. We will always be prepared for the worst as this place will break you in for the worst.

Hmm...I just moved-in here and its been great. I know for a fact there aren't any hidden fees, all the fees are explained to you when you sign initial paperwork and turn in your application...no surprises for me. I have NO idea what you're talking about! As far as high electric bills go, you might want to try actually talking to the office staff because they WILL reimburse you if the AC or heat hasn't been working correctly...I know because my neighboor mentioned this to me a week after I moved-in...apparently he had problems last winter.

I have been living here for past 10 monhts and I find the reviews surprisingly shocking. Come on guyz, it is hard as it is to find a new place, writing reviews just because you have misgiving with the management or for whatever reasons doesnt justify to make it impossible to separate chafe from wheat. I agree the rent is obnoxiously high for the place in the middle of nowhere. I agree that equipments are a bit towards the older side. But i dont agree that this place should be given a rating of 1. I am moving out because well firstly, gas prices are too high to justify living 15 miles away. Secondly, they just increased rent by 7%. Thirdly, rent is just too high for relatively smaller apartment size. My advice - live here if you dont mind the price and enjoy quiteness. Oh on the maintenance side - well I have limited experience with that. They came out to look at the broken dishwasher immediately after I complained. As part of their "said" policy hung in the management office the rent will be prorated if they fail to make repairs within a week. So I deliberately decided not to ask about the updates for a month and half. Ultimately I asked about the status and they seem to be sitting with thumb up their ass. Anyways I dint get a discount on the rent. Of course I am pissed. ;) I was counting on the discount. Otherwise, I think its an all right place. I have seen worse in and around DC.

all what is mentioned here is correct. everything is glued together. i spoke to 7 families here , most from my daughters school friends. none of them had anything good to say. just holding on till the lease expires. i think all the good comments above are from the apartment management.
