I lived at Bent Tree from October of 2002 through October of 2003. While I didn't really have any problems with the apartment itself, I have to say that the responsiveness of the management could certainly be a bit better.

Maintenance-wise, things were taken care of in a timely fashion, but I had constant problems with noisy neighbors.

To begin with, I had several college boys living above me, who insisted on playing their radio so loud I could tell what song was on. The night that I moved in, I was awakened at 1:30 am by people screaming and running through the apartment, and again at 4:00 am by the radio.

After that, I had parents above me who allowed their daughter to bounce her ball on the floor, run, stomp, scream, jump, throw tantrums, and generally be a brat at least twelve hours a day.

Whenever I have complained, management has promptly (to my knowledge) sent a letter, and tell me if the noise got too bad, the residents could be evicted. Fat chance, that. Not once did they call the offenders, speak to them, or punish them in any way, though the lease clearly states that quiet enjoyment of one's apartment is required. Don't live here if you like to relax in peace.
