I have lived here for two months and am already counting down the months until my lease is up!
1. Parking. If you come home after 6pm don't even bother looking for a spot close to your apartment building.
2. Bugs. There are bugs EVERYWHERE.
3. Noise. If you do move in, move into the top floor. We live on the 3rd floor (and have someone above us) and we can hear EVERYTHING they do up there. It sounds like an elephant stomping back and forth. You can ever hear the toilets and showers!
The walls are too thin. We got two noise complaints from our downstairs neighbors and we weren't even having a party.
4. MAINTENANCE. My biggest issue thus far has been a leak. Apparently the downstairs neighbor had a leak coming from our apartment. They will come in totally unannounced (which I understand in an emergency situation), move all of your furniture around, and leave it. They unplugged my computer and moved my desk, took things out of the hallway and left it sitting out. I put everything back only to come home the next day to the same thing. Not only that, but I now have ripped up carpet, a GIANT HOLE in my wall, stains on the carpet from the leak, and marks on the wall from them moving in equipment. They said they were done and wouldn't have to come back once we threw a fit about it. That's fine and all, but what about the giant 2 foot HOLE in the wall' Not only that, but maintenance used my toilet (which is fine, I understand when duty calls) and didn't even put the seat down!
5. Our water pressure keeps getting progressively worst every time maintenance comes in and "fixes" anything.
6. Our outlets are almost completely useless. When we moved in we had to get a bunch of them fixed because they weren't working. Now we have to bend our plugs to get them to stay in the wall! Totally ridiculous.

What! No parking? Are you kidding! The improperly tow any cars without a parking pass even when they don't have any signs at their main entrance or any part of the parking spots to warn visitors or tenants that their car will be towed at their expense.
