My husband and I lived in Bent Tree before moving to Westfield Village two years ago. I just wanted to make some quick comments...Bent Tree is only concerned about one thing...MONEY. They stuck it to us whenever they had the chance. Raising our rent every year, no break. After living there for 3 years, we were paying a crazy amount for an old run down place. Not to mention, we asked them countless times to make certain repairs that were never fixed. Mainly, we had birds flying down the vent over our stove and injuring themselves on the vent cover, and if we removed it, they would get into our apartment wild and free!! We had a total of 5 birds in our place, two which we called the office about, and three we just took care of removing ourselves. We also asked for them to check on a very foul odor that we coming down that same vent over the stove in the summer time (which, duh, was probably a dead bird!!). They actually told us they had to hire people to get on the roof to check that out, and that they could not do it!! Of course, no one was ever hired. Granted, maybe things are different now and I do have only kind words for Tim over there. He tried his best to help us. Good luck to anyone who takes a chance with this place. I hope for your sake things have changed!!! :)

Wow, I got one even better...at Bent Tree, we lived in a few different apartments. Our first apartment was a one bedroom with a studio. One night, my husband and I noticed the carpet seemed damp in the bedroom. I started to push on the carpet and water began seeping through the carpet! I called the after hours line, and they were not convinced it was an emergency. I had to tell them I am standing in water and it is only getting worse...get over here!! They came over and we had to move all our bedroom furniture into the living room. We lived like that for a WEEK while they dried the carpet with fans. They then told me it was a foundation problem and that there was major construction that needed to occur. They asked us to switch apartments and guess what....they charged us again for security deposit, ammenities, etc. in our new place. We moved across the street from our old place so I kept waiting to see the construction get started. IT NEVER HAPPENED. But as everyone can guess...they moved someone ELSE in there once we were gone and the carpets were dried!! Sooooo low down.
