We lived at the apartment for 6 months and it was a so-so place to be. The apartment itself was ok, decent sized but horribly overpriced (but what are you going to do in northern Virginia'). Rules were never reinforced, our neighbors constantly left trash outside their door for weeks at a time and no one did anything about it until a complaint was made. The trash compactor was always full with trash sitting on the curb for days at a time. Whenever service needed to be done in the apartments, a general notice would be posted about the 2 week time frame it would be done in. But no one ever notified you of when your apartment would be done, or had been done, so we spent two weeks locking our dogs in the bathroom when we didn't need to!!

The real problems came when we moved out due to a job transfer - the staff in the office did a 180 on their attitude. They became rude and difficult and argumentative!! Not one phone call has been exchanged where they didn't start yelling from the time we say hello. They are threatening and sent us to collections 1 week after we moved out!! We have to pay them $3,000 just for breaking our lease early, and they will not budge on making any type of payment plan!! On top of it all, they refuse to notify the electric company of the day we moved out and are sticking us with the power bill for the time that we didn't even live in the state!! And they say they're doing US a favor by not making us pay the bill for the months we should have been living there until they re-rent it. JERKS!!

This place is definitely NOT worth the hassle of dealing with a horrible staff. Look elsewhere!!

this is typically how the place is also none of the rules are ever enforced! i agree the place is horrible!

I agree, the office staff at that place is soooooo incompetent, uneducated, and rude. They completely ignore your complaints unless there are perspective tenants in lobby, at which time they promise to handle the situation that day, yea, right!!!. Also, maintenance is a joke. I actually witnessed a maintenance guy spit on the steps ??? how gross is that? Please, let???s not talk about the paper thin walls.
