I have lived here since late 2003. I had hopes that when Bozzuto took over this property that things would improve. However, some things have gotten worse. If you call for maintenance, be prepared to have to call back at least twice and wait for at least a week. The people that work in the leasing office are bunch of snooty, airheaded bimbos. Once I called complaining about the bugs and the girl asked me if the bugs were inside the apartment!!!! What a ditz!!
I've probably made 10 to 15 service calls in the two years that I've lived here. Out of all those calls, they probably did two of them on time and correctly.
One time, I had a friend from out of town visiting. My friend and I walked down to the pool to see if there were any girls there. Not seeing any, we walked back to my house. We were each carrying a plastic cup of beer. As we walked down the sidewalk some young hispanic men with long hair (an MS-13 trademark) called down from a balcony and asked if we were cops. We replied that we weren't and we were then asked if we would like to come in for some Jack Daniel's. We declined and advised them that we had beers and were OK. My friend told a cop friend of his about this (the friend works on a gang task force). My friend was told that the two hispanic men were very likely to be gang members and that if we had actually encountered them on the sidewalk at night and hadn't had the beers, they probably would have killed us for declining the Jack Daniels (believing that we were cops). This is not a problem that is exclusive to Lakeside because Centreville is infested with MS-13's, but I happen to know that the management company does NOT do criminal background checks on potential residents.

I heard about a month ago that 3 guys were beat up with bats and robbed of everything!
