When I first saw the grounds of this community, I thought this is it!!! The apartment complex is nestled between two beautiful lakes with trees all throughout. I wanted an area where I could go Home to, not to a large high rises. SO considering the landscaping this area did not look like the typical apartment complex so I was naturally drawn in. BUT....

After I moved in, I should have seen the writing on the wall when, it took management weeks to have someone come and fix the problems that were there before I moved in. Not to mention they were not ready for me to move in on the date they promised... But I overlooked it and continued to stay.

There are many little things that went on that would take forever to write out but I will say that I have never been as disgusted with this place until a contractor who came to replace my washer and dryer (without my prior knowledge) damaged my BRAND NEW COUCH!!! At first management denied their being any damage committed on their watch. But their story fell through and they placed the blame on the contractor and stated I would have to take it up with their management! A word to the wise, your contractual relationship is with the apartment complex NOT some contractor so what I should have said was it is up to you to leave my apartment the way you saw it and if anything happens to my personal property it is on you to fix not me to contact some 3rd party. It took me 3mo to have a resolution. As far as I am concerned that is 3mo to many.

I am moving out because the rent is to high for the type of service you get. Not only that you dont always get what you see. If you want to move in demand to see the unit you are getting. My neighbor moved into a unit that had bad carpet, old appliances, and green stuff on the balcony. She stayed a year and when she left it was just as she had came in-- nothing was fixed. On top of all these reasons management is terrible. They are rude, unaccomadating, and very very unprofessional! I hope they get their act together but judging by what others have written this is far from the path of corrective action!

this place sucks. i am a current resident; i recently had to change apartments within lakeside because the rent was through the roof after my initial lease was up. upon renew for a new and less expensive apartment with lakeside, their service sucked. not only did they make me refill out my lease papers again, they charged me for additional fees as if i were a new resident. my current apartment is a nightmare. i have so many critters living in my apartment, i want to charge them rent. my apartment is a dump. i need strenuous and drastic repairs. everything in the apartment has a ghetto seventies appeal. its like an episode from goodtimes. management is horrible and does not take initiative to have anything repaired. they charge u to have a key to the weight room and swimming pool. as if u dont already pay to much rent for their dumpy apartments. it is next to impossible to break lease i cases of emergency. my electric bill is sky high because they have terrible insulation. i could go on and on but it is making me mad talking about this. bottom line, i urge anyone to reconsider their move here. u can do bad on your own. these people should not be allowed to continue business.
