Lakeside Apartments

We spent a year and 8 months at Lakeside, and just moved out to a townhouse.
Overall, we look back at this time with warm feelings... and good memories of walking around the lake, playing in the pool, meeting neighbors, and Starbucks coffee in the mornings.
Our first year was a deal, with two months free and $300 off per month. Certainly at that rate, nothing beats Lakeside. The grounds are very well kept, with landscaping crews putting in new flowers every season. The trees are simply beautiful in the springtime.
I think some of the comments about noise might be right... depending on who is above you, life could become miserable. We lucked out, and didn't lose any sleep on that account.
My experience with the maintenance was also nice, not like some others listed here. Our unit started out with a heater / AC that also ran 100% of the time (probably very old) and so I complained. It was not long at all before they replaced the unit completely, with a much more powerful system. Generally with any complaint, someone was there to look at it that same day. After owning an old house, and remolding everything, this was a great experience!
Parking is much better than my townhouse where we are going to... I'm going to miss the flexibility.
Thank you Lakeside! We are going to miss the cookies and coffee!
