Don't always believe what you read, when I first moved into this area I read negative comments about the place but it was a great apartmeent living, there will always be some problems when you are renting but that is every where, now that I am a home owner, I believe Lee overlook was my best experience, the people were nice in the office and when you had an issue they were prompt to response. People that complain and say don't live here were probably evected for not paying rent and also were a problem, becasuse that is one thing with Lee Overlook if you are a problem trust me you will not be there long. To all the renters with all these problems remeber your renting if you don't like it BY YOUR OWN HOME,THE MARKET IS GREAT NOW!!!!!!

My husband and I lived at lee overlook for four years because it was the only place we could afford. Another reason we stayed so long was because the office was so incredibly disorganized that they never asked us to re-certify our paperwork until we moved out and so our rent was never raised. When they realized it they tried to raise our rent but we protested because our laundry list of issues were not addressed and so they declined to raise the monthly rent. They also asked us to back date all the paperwork because they were being audited and hadn't done their job in the 4 years we were there, which i am sure if fraud and we refused to do. They are the most incompetent, unprofessional, and disorganized staff. We paid our rent on time every month and when a tenant in our building moved in with roaches and the leasing office ignored our complaints, even though we had a new baby in the house we started to worry. Then when our dishwasher broke and it took them 4 months to do anything about it, among a myriad of other problems we decided to move out. We could put up with their idiocy when it was just my husband and I but as our schedules became busier and we had our child we realized how unprofessional we were being treated and we got out of there. There is not enough time to type all the problems we had with them. DO NOT LIVE HERE! They go through employees in the front office so often and the employees are not efficiently trained. -----, the GM, is a complete idiot as well. (She is the one that asked us to back date all our paperwork for 3 out of the 4 years) do not believe any of the recommendations to live here! I am sure the office has placed this comment on here so people will rent there, it is a trap do not fall in!! DO NOT LIVE HERE!

Wow, your story well told!! I lived there for two years before l was asked for recertification and the same thing was asked. They wanted me to back date everything. So sorry, do they think l have stupid written across my forehead?? My rent did not go up until my third year after l guess someone did catch the recertification that l really did not know about since it was a tax credit program and yes audits of the IRS would be sick at what managment attempts to have tenants do for them. So sad that often, some of these tenants feel threatend and intimated thinking if they do not sign and date as asked, they will be asked to leave. Many are stuck and can't do that. Often it is the cost of moving that keeps them from moving. The expense of moving is not cheap and we are living in an area where many people come to USA to find a better life....it is not at Lee Overlook Apts. The friend above must have been here during another life or when the General Manager was out on another planet!
