I moved here a while ago. It was my first apartment and so I didnt know what to expect. The first week I moved here every handle on each cabinet I had broke in the exact same spot. I left that alone and moved on. Then if I open a blind it broke in the spot you looked out of. The came to do and unannounced building wash down, and sprayed through opened windows in every room. I have been asking for my last 4 lease renuals to have my carpet cleaned (as per my lease) and nothing. We have had 6 office managers who all say " well Im not going anywhere". Now, there are 8 and 12 people living in 2 bedroom apartments making the as much noise as a heard of elephants. I tried to hang my child art work and went right through the wall. Underneath my carpet is pure concreted grass which means we get little creepy crawlers during the warm season.
You have to be desperate or niave, or just stupid to stay here as long as I have. This Place is like the last hotel you pass before you get to the end of the highway and you have no choice but to stay... DONT DO IT.. thats All I have to say..

I agree with this tenant. Other than the scenery here, it is awful and since l have been here far longer than my friend above, the only reason you are here is to save money to get out. I have been told when you sign the lease to stay on a 30 day notice, they don't feel your here to stay ,therfore do not do the carpets as mentioned above or paint the apt. They will come in and spot paint if you fight for it. Been here over 3 years and have seen ,lost count , over 5 managers who claim always to do better. Never works and sure it is because of burn out from the higher up ranks in MD. Keep away.Blinds are always breaking and they will nail you for it in the end. They need to stay down ,pull on them to view some sunlight and they break. The toilet has overflowed countless of times. No water pressure many times. Been in the shower and tried to rinse my thick long hair while water suddlenly is cold and trickles through. Or do go for the referral a freind for $ 400.00. Sounds great, but please do not set a friend up for that. Critters, yes seen those too. Eviction notices when you pay your rent, seen that too, please, please always keep your receipts. Your lease renewal , well that is another story. They give you short notice and expect you drop everything and provide everything because the IRS is visiting and they did not do things right. They attempt to have you come in a do all the paperwork they did or did not do correctly and then have you sign and date it as far back as months. Don't think so! I have requested painting, touch up were done, paint has bubbled and peeled over the last 3 years, especially near the door knobs and when they came in, they left it alone. The heating system broke twice and my last bill was $200.00 for one month with no one home all day. Your told, wear and tear is covered? What is that? So does that mean, cheap plastic blinds that crack when u pull them up, does it mean bubbling up paint that then peels, elements that grow old after several years, carpet that has color on it from a bullet coming through the next apartment and it never been taking care of. I can go on and on and frankly am so disappointed that this continues and it is allowed to continue to good people who pay their rent on time and take pride living in their home. I know l am not alone, myneigbor moved out after 4 months with a child and no assistance with them helping her with a broken dryer. People below me out within the year they moved. It is almost happening every weekened. You come in thinking you found the pot of gold to find yourself struggling with all kinds of issues and the management team do not give a hoot! I am out of here and l am looking forward to moving where l know the managment team have been around for 15 years. That tells me there is customer service and pride where they are.I could probably go on but like my friend tells you, don't do it! I am on my way out and so is my neighbor. That tells you something!
