I have lived at Madison Ridge for 2 years. Due to a relocation, I chose this apt. complex online, having never seen or visited the property. From day one the management and staff at MR have done everything possible to provide a safe, clean, quiet community for ALL residents including the pets. This is the ONLY apt. complex in NOVA that offers pet sitting as an amenity. All of the MR staff are professional, friendly, and helpful, but more than that they make MR a nice place to live. I could have chosen many other places and choose to stay here. The complaints on this website most likely stem from current or former residents who have been repeat offenders for the very things THEY complain about. The dog poop issue was resolved after months of warnings to residents. Pet owners have a legal obligation to restrain their dogs and pick up after them, it is not MR's responsibility to walk behind our dogs and pick up after their potties. MR does enough picking up after residents who disrespect the environment and others in the community. I am appalled at the litany of complaints by irresponsible tenants who either didn't stay or had to legally be asked to leave because of continued violations on THEIR part, not MRs part. I would recommend this complex to family and friends because of the staff. I have rented property for over 10 years and this is the best apt. complex I have ever stayed in. The prices are moderate compared to the market and I could pay 2,000 for rent and get crappy service. Why' When I can be happy with MR, the mngt, and the location for a reasonable rent. Quit complaining people and get a life!
