Don't expect much from an apartment community and that is what you get here. MR has some nice staff and they were pretty easy to deal with as we have been in this apartment for a number of years transitioning different roommates in and out over the course of 4 years.
PARKING is a mess and I have been towed despite having a sticker and have had friends towed when the 'guest' parking got full. It's a tad ridiculous. I've had my car broken into (presumably by the hoodlums in the community behind MR) as well. MAINTAINENCE is good about getting to your work orders promptly though I had to have them repeatedly come fix my washer which would break almost monthly - until they finally replaced the unit. The other appliances are very old - and like other posts the dryer does not dry on the first two cycles. I know a couple of years ago when I was there that 3 different apartment full of friends were flooded when the hot water heater above their apartment burst and flooded everyone - and these were in 3 different buildings. Definitely get renters insurance if moving here!!!!
GROUNDS are pretty well kept and the dog poop should be taken care of by the residents not the staff. I never really had a problem.
NOISE is typically not too bad but I had a loud family beneath me that must have had at least 12 kids and they smoked pot all day and nothing ever seemed to happen to the tenants.

All in all I would say shop around for the amount you would be paying here. Other communities closer to DC charge the same amount for far better apartments and amenities.
