We have lived here since May 2004 and can't wait to get out! We moved here because we had a good experience at another Post property and thought it would be a good choice. Since the first month we have moved in we have had a serious and frustrating time dealing with ants, spiders and other crawly bugs. There pest control company is so below subpar. If you want to live here or know someone who is moving in think about getting a case of Raid for your first month.
To keep the property trash-free they invite a group of mentally challenged people to keep the place clean. We think that it is a great idea to have them doing this if they are well supervised. The problem happens when they start yelling and chasing residents (who are in cars) like this group loves to do. Especially around the dumpster. The best time to take your trash to the dumpster is at night. Its far less scary than in the day.
There maintenance policy guarantees that they will respond to requests within 24 hours which we have found to be accurate. However, responding to a request and actually getting the request done are two separate issues with them it seems. They have always gotten back to us within 24 hours, it usually takes them anywhere between 2 to 24 days to actually get the job done. If you don't mind seeing holes in your walls and walking on soggy carpet this is the place for you! Oh and if you are planing to get an apartment here, we recommend getting a 2 bathroom apartment because this way you can ensure that you have at least 1 working bathroom at any given time.
Of course we can not forget the Post Corners Leasing staff. They do love their job even if they aren't very good at it. We should have know things would go bad when it took them 3 times to get our address right in there system. Don't even bother complaining about any of your problems because they don't care and they certainly won't do anything about them. They won't stop your neighbors from putting trash in the breezeways, they won't supervise the random people they give apartment keys to (even though in the lease you sign it says they will), and they won't bother to fix the gates that we pay extra to have!
The one good thing we can say about this place is that it is in a good location within walking distance of grocery stores and restaurants.

I am also a resident at post corners. I have lived at post corners for 3yrs. Let me say that not only is the leaseing staff great but also the maint staff. I have always had all of my maint.calls taken care of within 24 to 48 hours. The staff , very kind and the people that take care of the prop. are only trying to be kind to everyone. this person needs to take a chill pill.

Let me say thank you to whoever wrote this review for opening my eyes - I previously had no complaints about Post Corners but obviously I was unaware I had such a narrow-minded, ignorant, prissy and generally sad neighbor! So that's my one complaint - but I guess, this being a free country and all, we can't keep the jerks like you out. Pity. The leasing staff are very kind and helpful, as are the maintenence staff. And the people with disabilities (yes, that is the correct way to refer to them, not the more offensive "mentally challenged" term that this reviewer used) are also very nice and helpful. They are not chasing cars; they are saying hello (like normal nice people) and trying to help you with your garbage. I was particularly grateful one morning when, running late, a kind gentleman took my garbage from my car for me. I would agree with this reviewer that he or she should keep to taking their garbage at night, if for the sole reason that I do not EVER wish to run into such an unpleasant individual. In fact, I would suggest they move somewhere where they are not plagued by nice, happy, well-adjusted people. And for what it's worth, in the year we have lived here, I have seen exactly one tiny spider and a few sugar ants (OH, THE HORROR!!) Get a life (and hopefully a new address), you sad pathetic loser.

I have no complaints and live here as well. Yes, I have a few ants now and then -- nothing but a can of Raid and it's fixed. Yes, I hear the people with disabilities greeting the residents but they are hardly a bother. The maintenance staff and office staff are both EXTREMELY helpful to me and in a timely fashion. One might prehaps, look as HOW you are asking for help. These people are not your servants.
