The place has issues -- but not ones that are intolerable. This is the first gated community that I have lived in where the gates actually work for more time than not. Yes, I hear planes, sirens and other signs of life -- but then again, I remember how deathly quiet the skies were after 09/11 when no air travel was allowed. In some ways, the noise you do hear reminds me of "life" and that's a comfort. I have never had issues with the office staff or my neighbors. The grounds are kept clean. The only two complaints I would have is that it smells like pet urine when you walk outside the apartment -- especially when it's hot...I find that disgusting. I realize they have to go but right outside the stairs' Also, the compactor gets very full on weekends. Other than that, I don't plan on moving.....I can deal with the sounds of life.
