I began looking for a new apartment about a month ago and toured several properties in the Centreville/Fairfax area. I had narrowed my search down to Post Corners and Woodway at Trinity Centre. Both said that they participated in a "preferred employer" program that included the company that I work for, which waived security deposits. I was later told by Woodway that I had been misinformed and my company was not on their list, so no discount there! I chose Post Corners over Woodway for a few different reasons. The leasing consultant that I worked with at Post showed me several different apartments and went out of his way to keep me informed of vacancies and promotions. After my first visit with Woodway there was no follow up on their part, it was up to me to keep the comminication going.

I had read reviews regarding both aprtment complexes and was disturbed by one regarding Woodway. It stated that there were Sex Offenders living there. I researched the Virginia State Police Sex offender website and that information was confirmed. There are two currently living in that community, one of which is deemed "violent." That is what ultimately made my decision.

The staff at Post Corners was/is very professional and knowledgable. They worked with me until I found the perfect apartment that met my needs. It is a great layout and location. The community itself is beautiful. The grounds are well maintained and the landscaping is gorgeous.

They allow pets up to 80 pounds & do have a few restrictions reagrding agressive dog breeds. You are required to pay a pet deposit, but they do not charge a monthly pet rental fee like many of the other complexes do.

I was also comforted by the fact that there are many State Police as well as Fairfax County officers that live in the community. It gives an extra sense of security!

I have just moved in so I can't comment on the living experience just yet, but I think that I will be very happy here. The first impression was GREAT and I was given a great deal on the lease, so far so good! I look forward to settling in!
