So your class shows by your choice of language. I've lived here 20 years and this is still a great place to live. Drugs are not a problem,when noticed they are quickly dealt with, same as gang wannabe's. We are diverse and most of our units have been remodeled/modernized. Some neighbors are better than others--same as anywhere--and I am sure glad you don't live near me. Go ahead, back under your rock. Bye!

I have lived in the Meadows since 2000, and unfortunately, I have to say it HAS gone down hill. Since they demolished the apartments that were adjacent to the Meadows property, it has become a neighborhood to not be so proud of. Not only did the roaches from those apartments come over, but so did the immigrants! I cannot open the front door to my house at any time of the day or night without at least five immigrants hanging out, walking by, drunk, talking loud on their cellphone, or just leaving their trash all over the place. There is over-crowding in many of the units, and I constantly get water notices saying my row of homes is using too much water....please check the pipes for leaks. Come on! It's not a leak. It's the 10 people living in one unit! The condo fee does go up every year, but yet I see no new benefit of that to the community. Trash everywhere. Discarded condoms in the common areas. Discarded food and wrappers laying all over the place to where I am unable to walk my dogs safely without worrying about them eating some rotten food. My car has been vandalized. I can't even have a gazing ball in my front garden without someone stealing it! One night was all it lasted before it was stolen. Who steals a gazing ball, for heaven's sakes? Let's not forget the more serious of crimes such as murder, and sexual assault that has occurred in recent years. The Meadows WAS a great neighborhood at one time....when I first bought my home, I was so excited to live here....but now, it's not so great and getting worse. It might not be a true GHETTO just yet, but it is definitely heading that way, if something doesn't change.
