The Reserve at Regency Park (formerly Brookridge Apartments)
We moved here because his sister had an apartment that was renovated to be sold as a condo a few years ago when the complex was sold to a developer (granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, cherry cabinets) and although she had a gorgeous apartment, she also had no complaints for the 1 yr she was here (her former roommate is still here.. which should be testament to how great they treat you here).
We have had very minimal maintenance issues and when the issues are submitted, they are resolved the same day or the very next day while we are at work. When we moved into our new apartment (after moving from 2 buildings away.. yes, we loved the complex and manager/maintenance that much), we had an issue with new plumbing (which turned out to be an issue/problem with the contractor and NOT the apartment complex maintenance team) which was fixed within 2 hours of us moving in. 2 days later, we had an issue with our older thermostat. Someone came over that night around 8pm and put in a temporary A/C unit in our bedroom to keep us comfortable and fixed the A/C unit the very next day. We have never had any more serious issues and anything small was always taken care of in a very timely manner without being intrusive.
Trash is picked up later in the morning as to not disturb the majority of residents that are early to bed, early to rise Federal government workers (it seems, at least... this complex is VERY quiet with 0 issues with police that I have seen in the 2 yrs I have been here), kids that live in the adjoining apartments are not loud, and we rarely have issues with noise.
Lastly, we considered moving to a complex that offered more room when our last lease was up (but for a MUCH bigger price) but decided against it because this complex is the most removed from the interstate (lots of the buildings back up against the woods!) and highways (but still being highly and easily accessible) and because we never had issues. We will stay here probably until we decide to buy a home in the area.
Literally, my only complaint is visitor parking, which there just isn't room for the way the complex was built. That isn't the leasing offices fault, though. When I know I have people coming over, I reserve a spot or two early in the evening or late in the afternoon which is really not a big deal since all visitor parking is easily accessible to all apartment buildings.
