I have never been so miserable in my entire life as I have been since my Fiance and I moved to Brookridge. We moved here from RI, so we moved in sight-unseen, and boy were we in for a SHOCK! Appliances SUCK, they are HORRIBLE, old, unkempt, etc., AND (NOT kidding here), there was crusted up PISS all over the toilets, and the floor near the toilets when we moved in! We moved here from another Equity Res. property and when we left it, we left it SPOTLESS! I was so mad! What else- ok, in the winter when we had that incredible snowstorm, not ONE plow! It was horrible! People were shoveling themselves out with POTS AND PANS, and were shoveling snow onto other people's cars, and back into the road b/c there was literally no plowed lanes or anything. Hmmm. What else- we also had ants SO incredibly bad that I would come home from work and actually find them crawling up my arms!!! I was horrified at that. Also, our washer and dryer broke, and when they finally replaced them a month later (they had started working again in the meantime), they THREW THEM OUT WITH OUR CLOTHES IN THE DRYER! Thank God that my Fiance was smart enough to go behind them and check! Also, we must live in the worst building for noise in the whole complex (I certainly hope so, for everyone else's sake)! Our neighbors are loud, they have loud-ass dogs, and the ones two doors over are even worse! They are out on the porch sounding like banshees ALL THE TIME! I swear, I can't wait to leave this place!
