Great Place to Live

I moved in and found it a great place to live. Overall, its been a great living experience. Great apartment, nice and bright. Lots of windows and sunshine, high ceilings, big rooms, a kitchen that belongs in a house its so big and tons of cupboards and a pantry! We only live in a one bdrm and sometimes feel lost with so much space. Its in a house setting instead of brick buildings and there are tons of trees and green grass to run around in. I used this review to consider moving in or not and so far all the problems people have written have not applied to us. Those people are probably messy, hate animals, and complain about a little extra effort. We have not experienced bugs/ants. We have two boxers that live directly above us and we never hear them, and they are the friendliest dogs. The apartments are completely sound proof, I cannot hear the highway or the airplanes landing and my apartment is directly behind the highway. When we moved in they had brand new carpeting installed that day and then I had to wait an hour for the cleaning ladies to finish up cleaning. They left it spotless, floors waxed. We?ve experienced 2 snowfalls so far this winter and each time snow plow has come through more then once. We work in DC and I know by 700am its plowed. I always see them shoveling the sidewalks when I come to and from work. My stairs are always salted- layers of salt. As for parking there is ample parking available. Maybe not directly by your front door, but not everyone can have front row parking. So what if you have to walk a few extra spaces or one building over. Its only a couple extra feet, not thousands of feet. I find the leasing agents to be very nice people. I?ve had no problems and what questions I have asked them, they?ve been real helpful. My neighbors are great, everyone friendly. May not know their names, but sure know their faces and their friendly hellos and helping hands. I would definitely recommend living here, especially if you work in DC and want to get away. Its close enough that its not a hassle and when you come home, its to peace and quiet and relaxation. So close to malls, shopping centers, you name it. Centreville and Brookridge is a great place to live.
