Where do I start' My wife and I have lived here almost two years, and I can still barely bring myself to relinquish the rent money each month. When we first moved in, the place looked like someone had just moved out. The only thing they did was paint and lay new carpet. All the windows and appliances had overspray, and the floors, toilets and sinks were completly filthy. I threatned to move out as soon as we moved in.
The only reason we stay now is because it is less-expensive than moving right now. The management is totally non-responsive, and the upkeep is horrible. I allow things to remain in disrepair, or I will repair them myself, if it is simple, in order to avoid any dealings with the staff. It takes about a week for repair service, in spite of their 48 hour garantee.
Right now, I can hear the birds fluttering around in my oven hoods. I had to dig them out myself because they would not come out yesterday. Now the birds are back, loud as ever. The management simply does not care. I wish we had never hung our hat at this place. We are quiet residents, never late with our rent, and I would think that they would want more of us. I could write many pages about Brookridge, with all our experiences here. We simply cannot wait for the day when we buy our own place!
