My husband and I lived at Westfield Village for two years exactly. We lived at Bent tree previously, and were so excited to find they were running a "special" at Westfield that allowed us to afford a 3 bedroom. HUGE mistake. Granted, Bent Tree was no picnic when it came to costs, but Westfield seemed to outdo them by miles!! The first day we moved in, our washer overflowed and soaked our carpets horribly. They came in to look at it and the rude staff actually blamed US!! The staff also had entered our apartment multiple times without notice to "check" on things...total invasion of our privacy. Within the first week, our washer overflowed, our stove broke, our garbage disposal broke, and our AC unit broke. Our dishwasher was also from 1972 it seemed. We were paying almost 1500 per month, which for a 3 bedroom is not that bad we agree, but for the age of the place, that is insane!! Not to mention, our power bill was almost $300 one month, and when we complained about the unit, the staff at the main office said we had to contact the power company. The issue was never even resolved, we just suffered by turning down our heat and freezing. Thank God we have moved into our own townhome which is such a welcome change. Please, please anyone out there who is considering Bent Tree or Westfield Village, consider paying a tiny bit more at the Elms to get what you pay for. Westfield is a RIP-OFF!!!!!!!
