I have lived here for a year now. just renewed my lease. ill give you an honest review of what i think are the pros and cons
Pros:
1) Very quiet area. A lot of people dont even know these apts exist because they are so hidden behind a child care place and an elderly peoples home. If there is a noise issue as far as your neighbors, it is handled right away by the staff.
2) location: literally 5 min from 66 and 50. 2 min. from 28.And just a nice area to take walks in if you like to take walks
3) There is plenty of parking everywhere except the back apts. That is why they started making us use parking passes. Parking passes are given per csr and an extra visitors pass. If you need more you have to go to the office. Parking is only enforced 11pm-6am. any other time anyone can park.
4) Friendly office staff
Cons:
1) I dont want to say if you dont like kids, dont move here. Because i dont like them and i like it here. But, in the summer, they stay outside. And it can be annoying sometimes when your driving in the parking lot. They are usually respectful and move though.
2) The parking pass issue. If you forget to give your company one. THEY WILL GET TOWED. i stay seeing cars towed in the wee hours.
3 Maintenance-unfortunaltely, everything previously said about maintenance is true. thats why i only call when i really need them. because i know i will be waiting awhile for them, even though the office staff tells you the policy is it has to be adressed in 2 days. Nope. If you call and remind them of this policy they will say how busy they have been lately and someone called out (Each time i put in a request'). When they get there though(depending on the worker) they seem to be dilligent.
I did have drama when i first moved in but thats no reason for me to give on why you should move in or not.
4) oh gosh this should have been number one!!!!! Ok, these apts are kind of woody. And i swear there is a special kind of plant here the bugs feed on. I see some huge bugs! Never inside my apt. But right outside the door just asking me to come in and have dinner with me. thats not even the worst part. Inside the apts I have never seen a roach, an ant a silverfish or any of those other pesky bugs. But I do see, brace yourself.... Centipedes!!! I didnt even know these things invaded homes. I learned when I moved here. i just started becoming a little comfortable with killing them but i HATE IT! I do only see about one every two months. But, ugh! that is def the worst part about living here.
