I guess it is true that the loudest voice you'll hear is the one that is doing the bitching. If you get great service at a department store or if you call your credit card company, do you seek out a place or person to convey how happy you are' NO. But if they treat you like crap, you'll call every possible number on the planet until you can let somebody know you were wronged.

WELL, WELCOME TO APTRATINGS.COM - The voice for those who probably owe rent and werent' cut a deal, for those who bounced checks, for those who wanted to break a lease early for buying a house and were held to the same standard as everybody else.

I guarantee that half of these people tried to pull something on the office and got busted and now they want to cry.

Well, I tried to pull something on the office and got nabbed with late fees and everything. But I deserved it and I'm happy that the Resident Manager treated me with respect even when telling me to take a hike (in a nice way of course).

No place is perfect, and definitely not Woodway. But the noise isn't unusual for an apartment community, it's actually pretty good.

The location is great. After moving closer to D.C. I now realize how lucky you are to have a Giant, CVS, and banks all within a minute, instead of 20 minutes through traffic. Also, 66 and 28/29 are right there.

Apartments are huge. The one I have now has so much less closet space I have boxes of clothes in the trunk of my car. The fact that they are pretty new is nice too. The appliances and the look of the kitchens are clean and new looking.

When you need things fixed, they get fixed. Maybe not with the greatest of attitudes, but doesn't everybody have a bad day' At least the work gets done, which is much better than a lot of places.

Everyplace has mice, they come from the outside. What can management do' They set traps and leave, they can't stand there with nets and shovels and try to smack it' Or maybe they can set up some elaborate trap only to fall into the trap themselved and blow up like a Tom and Jerry cartoon. Please.

For the bad, I agree that not everybody in the office is pleasant, but just pick who you deal with. They have a member of the staff who will bend over backwards to help you out and actually feel bad if she can't help you.

The rent is pricy for Centreville, but you can usually get good deals, and it's worth much more than the other apartment places in the area.

The speedbumps suck as do the location of the mailboxes and dumpsters.

All in all, Woodway is a good place to live. Once you move out you'll see that you had it pretty good.
