NOT a quiet place

I was the first to live in the new apartment that was located on the first floor. Noise from the upstairs apartment, with only one, single, male occupant was very bad. I asked him if he "stomped" when he walked and told him that his walking around was amplified through the ceiling. He was a very nice guy and took no offense. However, since he was the manager of a pizza restaurant, I often got free pizza delivered. Nevertheless, I moved out of the apartment complex after three months because of very thin walls and a young, single, loud music playing, partying next-door neighbor. Unfortunately, you can't choose your neighbors.
