I had an absolutely horrible living experience with Woodway and I know of several other neighbors at the time who experienced similar circumstances. The management is slow to react to anything other than receiving their monthly check. I had to move and beak a lease the due to numerous complaints made about noise. Management never did anything to address the problem. They never even contacted me to hear my concerns until I complained to their regional office. After finally hearing my complaint (I had called the police department twice already) they told me they would contact the renter above me and warn them. The problem never got any better, and when I spoke to the noisy neighbor directly they indicated they never heard anything from the landlord...just the police. In essence they lied. They also tried to change up the provisions for breaking a lease after the fact and went as far as to try and prevent me from breaking the lease when they failed to provide anything close to a livable environment. There are many superior rentals in the Centreville area. This place stinks...overcrowded (try finding a park anywhere near your home after 8pm), unmaintained, and they could care less about their tenants. Reported them to both The Federal and Fairfax County Consumer protection agencies.
