When I didn't renew my lease, they didn't pay my deposit back in full.
Had some guy do the walkthru in a complete unprofessional manner. Then 2 months later I still didn't see my money back so I called. Got bounced around between some--------------------------------, but no answer. The I got a check with only a few fraction of the deposit. Caled and --------- then told us that "after the cleaning crew came and the contractors were working in the apartment that carpet stains showed up" This happened AFTER the lease period and after the walkthru... This is unacceptable and also illegal. We called Lincoln Management and the manager there also couldn't really give a proper explanation and that there is not much he could do about it. We forwarded this to Consumer Affairs and notified our lawyers. Also we have spoken to someone of "7OnYourSide".
Besides that the manager of the Woodway management team, --------- is a 'big head' kinda person and talks down to certain categories of people. She seems to forget that the lease holders are the ones really paying her salary.
Also the office is closed allot during the day and they constantly fail to relay messages or to call back.
I am glad I am out of there and on a different note I heard from several people that also rent from Lincoln properties at other lacations that they have similar complaints.
