The property is attractive and well-maintained. The management firm tries very hard to stay on top of issues, but when the tenants don't care one whit about how they treat their living environment, it's a can't-win situation. There's just no common courtesy or respect for others, and this is obvious every day.
NOW, MY REAL PROBLEM with the condo is the lack of sound-proofing. The builder's sales literature touted all sorts of sound deadening construction designs, but of course, that was just a lie. In that regard, I'm luckily just renting.
I moved here thinking I wouldn't be bothered by sound from neighbors above or on the sides, but I was wrong. My entire two years here have been a nightmare experience because of the family above me. Again, the lack of common courtesy and respect for others. I now sleep with ear plugs and and run the kitchen and bathroom fan just to drown out the yelling and screaming from above. Even several visits from the police haven't deterred them.
If you keep to yourself and try to ignore the fact that folks can be inconsiderate, sloppy and downright filthy, living here is tolerable.
