COMMUNITY--Great location, especially for the UVA community (under 1/2 mile to the academic campus, hospital; less than 2 miles to law school, business school, Downtown Mall). Free trolley and bus available at entrance. Parking, trash collection, and water are included. The swimming pool is open mid-May to late September and is rarely crowded. The building is older, but has an elevator, is clean, and solidly constructed. It was totally renovated in 2006-2007. There's a Resident manager on duty nights and weekends. In the daytime, you usually have to leave a message. APARTMENT--It's beautiful and feels more like a private home than a rental. There's a long balcony with views of the sunrise, mountains, woods, and pool. The kitchen has a wet bar, granite countertops, self-cleaning oven/glass top range, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, and icemaker. The bath has a tub/shower, double vanity and natural stone tile. Storage is great. Bedrooms have ceiling fans and large closets with tons of shelves. There's AC, a full size washer and dryer, berber carpet, multiple cable, phone, and internet connections. The apartment is well-maintained by a private owner. It is also partially furnished--sofa, lamps, chairs, bookcases, dining set, full size mattress and box spring, bamboo shades--but that's optional. The building allows pets, but this unit is no pets/no smoking. It's generally quiet here. You rarely hear noise from other apartments, either next door or across the hall. From the living room, you can hear loud noises in the hallways, but residents are courteous so it hasn't been a problem. k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S
