The maintance is wonderful and responsive and the location is great if you're a student but don't want to be in the middle of the party-business. However, there is assigned parking and most 2-3 bedroom apts have only ONE parking space. The are about 15 that are "up for grabs" and are never open. We were one of the lucky people living in a 2 bedroom with 2 assigned parking spaces. My roomie had her car hit 3 times because the spaces are so small. My SUV just wouldn't fit in one of the spaces. Also, uva hoochies crowd the pool since Madison/14th ST are the frat house streets. The apartment itself was wonderful for the exception of noisy people above us. The person who lived there before us had cats, but management ripped up the carpets and pads and replaced it all with new. They also came within 24 hours to fix any problem reported. In addition to this, we had a beautiful balcony that overlooked a creek and pine trees. I miss living there, but don't miss the remnants of college around the pool and in the apartment above.
