Too much for shoddy construction

1. Construction workers don't place signs. If they're painting, you won't know so until you get paint on your clothes.
2. Interior paint flakes off when it gets slightly moist.
3. A/C has Safe-T-Switch apparently installed incorrectly: it shuts off A/C all the time. Avemore's solution is to shake the pipe until water comes out. This "fixes" the A/C for maybe a couple hours. Since this isn't seen as a high priority you can be on the waitlist again for a couple days.
4. Walls are pretty thin. I don't like hearing my neighbors' 2 AM conversations and I don't want to know their bathing schedule (but I can hear it through the walls).
5. Shower leaks. Avemore's solution: a splash guard has been on order for months.
6. Overhead lights cost construction extra money so you get _two_. One by the front door and one in the bathroom. Sometimes people like to read in their bedroom. Bring plenty of lamps.
7. Interior doors no longer stay shut. All of the interior doors must be lifted slightly for them to click closed.
8. Crown molding isn't even complete in some areas!
9. Caulking job is coming undone in the kitchen and bathroom.
The place looks good on the outside but rushed construction is really easy to see once you get inside the apartment. The staff seems to change weekly so don't expect any complaints to be noticed for very long. Maintanance is overworked so issues can take days to be fixed and you're lucky if you get something more than "shake the pipe."
